Haroun Rahimi

Haroun Rahimi comes to mctlaw with a strong background in global business law and international dispute resolution. He earned his Ph.D. in Law from the University of Washington School of Law, where he received the 2018 Outstanding Dissertation Award for his research. He also earned an LLM in Global Business Law from the same university. Mr. Rahimi is licensed to practice in New York, Washington State, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Before joining mctlaw, Mr. Rahimi worked in legal education, governance, and consulting. He worked with international nonprofit organizations to promote the rule of law. Mr. Rahimi also provided consulting services on international dispute resolution, advising on complex legal conflicts across borders. At the beginning of his legal career, he served as a lecturer at Herat University in Afghanistan, where he taught law and mentored students.
Mr. Rahimi chose to work as a vaccine injury attorney because he is passionate about helping people who suffer from serious vaccine reactions. “People get vaccinated to protect their communities,” he says. “But when they experience serious injuries, they deserve fair compensation.”
Outside of work, Mr. Rahimi enjoys reading and spending time with his family. He also serves as the Country Correspondent for Afghanistan at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT).
