mctlaw welcomes Robert H. Weber III to its vaccine injury litigation practice in Washington, D.C. Weber brings more than 23 years of legal experience, including first-chair trial experience and eight years directing litigation as general counsel for a multinational organization.
Before joining mctlaw, Mr. Weber served as General Counsel and Global Director of Legal Affairs for Hayman-Woodward, a multinational immigration law and global mobility organization. As in-house attorney, he oversaw the organization’s disputes and directed the outside lawyers handling them. He advised leadership on when to fight a claim and when a resolution served the organization’s interests. Weber spent much of his early career in civil litigation including personal injury, product liability, aviation, and insurance disputes.
“Vaccine Injury Compensation Program claims often involve complex legal and scientific disputes,” said mctlaw founding partner Altom Maglio. “Robert brings the experience necessary to prove our clients’ cases. He knows how to challenge arguments that don’t hold up against the evidence and will not hesitate to do so, and that is the kind of resolve our clients deserve.”
Weber joins mctlaw’s widely respected vaccine injury team to represent people seeking compensation in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, where VICP claims are litigated.
Weber earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor Degree from East Carolina University. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
