I had both hips done in 2007 and in 2017 had to get massive revisions and bone graphs. I am still in pain and cannot do simple everyday living tasks without pain. My chromium and cobalt levels were in the 70 range and many pseudo tumors killing my body.

Yes I just recently learned that I gave the Biomet M2a magnum head and cup . I was told on the 23 rd of October that I have metal ( cobalt) in my blood. A year ago i woke up and could not walk , they did surgery to flush it out . Kept draining still on antibiotics this day. The original orthopedic that did the surgery said he was going to replace the ball and cup getting in there he says he couldn’t do it could not get it out did not revealed to me that there was a recall on these products and did not revealed to me that I had metal in my blood how could he not know he sent me to a specialist and he advised me last month that I have metal in my blood and that my hip asked to come out it’s hard to trust doctors And hospitals just very disappointed bastards!
