First, a finding of metallosis as a diagnosis that should be made by a physician. However, when we're reviewing records of a potential client, things that we'll look for to determine if this is a case that we can move forward with and retain might include the review of the revision surgery notes in which the surgeon might have noted things such as purple-ish gray, black fluid, purple-ish gray, black stained tissue, tissue death, muscle death, and something called a pseudo tumor.\n\nThat combination of things may amount to a, finding of metallosis. Any individual finding of those such things, such as tissue staining or so forth may alone constitute metallosis.
