Lloydann Wade represents clients in the Firm’s Consumer and Business Litigation practice. Formerly an Assistant State Attorney, Ms. Wade has extensive experience in courtroom trials and settlement negotiations. She worked in procurement & non-procurement contract approvals for government products and services. Ms. Wade also prosecuted misdemeanor and felony financial fraud and restitution cases; criminal mischief cases involving business theft by employees or customers; property destruction cases; and restitution for property damage. As a family law attorney, she performed financial asset discovery, drafted and negotiated marital settlements and prenuptial agreements, and pursued temporary financial relief for clients. In her criminal law practice, Lloydann prosecuted DUI, battery, drug, and theft offenses.
Lloydann says she became an attorney because she understood what it was like to fight for what you want. She fights for her own clients with the same drive and purpose. Ms. Wade believes hard work is the best defining characteristic of a person and the work product is always evidence of that drive and skill.
Lloydann earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2014. During law school she gained experience through internships at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and the Orange County Public Defender’s Office.
Community involvement is important to Lloydann. Currently she is a volunteer Judge with Teen Court and the Women’s Resource Center, where she was honored as Woman of the Quarter. She has volunteered with Legal Aid of Manasota and was recognized with their pro bono service award. She is also a member of the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association and is the Social Chair of the Inns Court. Lloydann Wade was born in Linden, Guyana but grew up in Long Island, New York. On her time off she loves to travel, watch movies, play trivia, and read.
